Jennie Kettlewell
Jennie coaches individuals, teams and boards. With the background of her business experience, she now works with them to focus on practical but motivating goals and quickly builds trust so that she can challenge them to do the best they are able to do. Jennie ensures that before any project is brought to a close every one of her clients clearly understands precisely what has been added to their skill set and how they may continue to apply these new skills in the future.
Among Jennie’s recent projects she has led include:
- coaching executives in an international UK-listed company through changing behaviours from focus on what they know to being customer-centred;
- creating and developing a team of facilitators covering three continents and 10 languages for an international UK-listed manufacturer;
- facilitating the board of a company to manage their disagreements over a two-day structured dialogue that resulted in strategic priorities and a business plan;
- supporting the new CEO and top team of a high profile charity to focus their efforts and agree priorities;
- facilitating newly-merged teams of a public sector agency to create a common vision, set of values and framework for action;
- helping the shared trading floor of banks in 5 countries to work together as a team to create a business plan;
- coaching an individual whose lack of emotional control was jeopardising his chance of promotion to self-manage and gain his promotion;
- coaching a high potential individual in a multi-national organisation to create a system for organising a workload that overwhelmed her so that she could manage her fear and be effective.
Jennie is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, an active member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council where she has worked with the Standards Committee to help improve industry coaching standards. Jennie is also qualified as an NLP Practitioner.
